Rail guides and blocks are the products that are used in the mechatronic systems for linear moving with certain precision and speed. Rail guides are equipped with blocks of correspondent standard size to which the platform with movable cargo is fixed.

Moving along the guidance rail is carried out by means of gearing system (Ball screws, rack-gear) and servodrive (page reference), or manually.

Rail guides and blocks are classified by standard size corresponding to the static and dynamic loads. In practice, guides of 20th standard size (in 90% of cases) are usually used, which carriage could move cargo with weight up to 150 kg. Guidance rails are mostly used in the machines, coordinate tables, systems of video and photo recordings, medical equipment, hoisting mechanisms, etc.
